NewbornDHA/ARA in Formula.....is it all that it claims to be?Submitted by EastCoastMom on February 1, 2008 - 06:50.
I am blessed to be able to breastfeed my 3 month old son and hope to continue to my 6 month goal (I nursed my daughter for 7 months) but understand that there are many mothers who do not have that option and need to feed their child formula from day 1. I reached for a popular formula brand when my daughter was 7 months old and felt OK with my decision. Now, it seems that between the new choice of organic formula and formulas with added DHD/ARA, they are new questions. Baby's First ColdSubmitted by EastCoastMom on January 14, 2008 - 11:49.
My son is 11 weeks old and while we just celebrated a full nights sleep, we also morned the arrival of his first cold. I was extremely annal about my toddler going near him the first few weeks and have been a hand washing fanatic since my daughter was born two years ago. Sometimes bugs just get through the barrier of hand washing, cautious sneezing and coughing and good vitamins. My son is doing so well, all things considering. Mommyhood-again!Submitted by EastCoastMom on November 5, 2007 - 07:58.
We welcomed baby #2 into our home last week and logistics are all I can seem to think about (well, aside from the new love of my life!). As a former event planner, logistics come naturally to me and thank goodness because with an active toddler and a newborn, you need to have your head on and be in full planning mode. Luckily, little A has school 3 mornings a week so I have time for little S and time to work out a routine with my husband. ( categories: Newborn )

Breastfeeding - Had a hard time but eventually figured it outSubmitted by HighMaintenanceMom on August 2, 2005 - 22:04.
I've been thinking a lot about breastfeeding and what my life was like right after my first was born. I was consumed by making sure B got enough milk when I was back at work. It seemed like such a struggle. When I look back at his first year, I realize that not only have I learned to accept the choices I made, but I am also happy with them... |
