There are so many pregnancy books on the market that a Mother to be can easily become overwhelmed with her choices. I was handed the obligatory What to Expect When You Are Expecting and was soon after told to dump it in the trash. I was warned that it was outdated and overly dramatic. I found that to be true. I found Your Pregnancy Week by Week, 6th Edition (Your Pregnancy Series)
to be current (their 6th edition is fully revised and updated), easy to read and to the point. I liked the Dad tips, exercise suggestions and lack of explicit pictures. They also talk about nutrition and give references for special needs. Along with 1 or 2 good pregnancy books like this one, keeping a pregnancy journal (you can make your own or buy one) helps generate questions for your OB/GYN, brings up concerns you may not have known you had and makes for a very nice keepsake when the kids are all grown up. Like anything I find and love, a good book it worth sharing and this is one I will share.
