High Maintenance Mom

My son impressed me today. Well, to be honest he finds a way to impress me everyday but today he did something amazing. He stacked blocks. He's 9 months old. I took out the small wooden blocks I got at Pottery Barn when my daughter was little and he took to them right away. He seemed fascinated with them and reached his little hand out to stack one after watching me for a bit. I cheered in delight and he quickly clapped his hands in response. I was anxious to show my husband our little geniuses accomplishment. I cant wait to stack more blocks tomorrow. I have turned into a cheerleader. My son stacks and my daughter uses the potty. Both deserve lots of praise.
