Girls Back to School Clothes

Submitted by girlstuff on July 17, 2008 - 09:37.

It's approaching all too quickly. Back to school shopping. Girls clothes that looked good on your daughters in May now are too tight, too worn, or if your daughter is like mine, stained. Even though it seems like summer vacation just started, it will be just a memory all too soon.

Skip the long, hot, shopping trip to the mall and select the latest in girls back to school clothes online. Designer brands such as Lipstik, Flowers by Zoe and Haven Girl are on sale now just when we need them. With many schools opening earlier and earlier in the summer, you can't get by without summer school clothes, too. The summer sales timing is perfect for fashion with great prices, too. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

I refuse to think about back to school or fall/winter. My daughter starts (yes, starts) camp on Monday. I say we enjoy the summer while it is still here and retailers can just wait until late August to get our attention. I think the Christmas push starts too soon also. I am stepping down off my soap box now. Enjoy summer everyone!

B is in a school with a uniform and I found that later in the season I couldn't find his favorite pants. It was strange to be running around trying to find the perfect khaki pants for the boy who doesn't like zippers or the adjustable pants. There was nothing like the meltdowns about the clothes that turned into crying fits about how he hates going to school. I have to admit that I look year-round for clothes that meet his uniform needs that he will actually wear. And I love to shop the end -of-season sale racks for next year's blue shirt.

I must say that I have had such trouble find various accessories for my kids. Mittens, boots, sun hats, etc. I also look year round for all clothes so there really isn't back to school shopping for us. Sometimes I wish my daughter had a uniform. Some of the outfits I see 2 year olds in make me cry....clogs, ponchos! I am not always sure what parents are thinking when they send their kids off to school.

I'm always amazed when I see toddlers in heels. My kids get hurt when their Crocs fall off while they are running. I'm with you on the outfits. Two years ago I was trying to find clothes for a friend's daughter and I ended up buying boys plain shirts because the girls ones were sleeveless and looked cropped.
