Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you are having a great Mother's Day. My special alone time this morning included an exercise class at the gym where I heard the following comments from friends. "This class is the highlight of my day. The rest of the day will include the usual errands, cleaning, and cooking." "My child made me a flower pot in Kinder but on Friday all I received was a note from her friend apologizing for breaking it." "My children like to tell me I can clean tomorrow instead." I hope you have the opportunity to do something you really enjoy today!

Special Mother's Day

This Mother's day was special for me because it was my first with 2 kids and also my first with my own Mom in the hospital. I almost forgot it was Mother's Day because I was caught up in my own Mom's illness. I awoke to roses from my husband's family, a rose plant from my kids and a home made card too. My husband made banana pancakes and my brother got my favorite champagne. I must say the highlight of my day was visiting my Mom in the hospital and bringing her pictures of my kids and seeing her smile. I feel honored to have my Mom in my life. When we said goodnight she told me what a great Mom I am and I said that I am a great Mom because she is a great Mom and taught me everything I know. Happy Mother's Day!!
