Great reference books for parents

I have always been a bit skeptical of parenting books because there are so many of them authored by so many people (doctors, Moms of many children, etc). I was on the look out for a direct, fact filled book for babies and one for toddlers. I found the perfect books for each, Baby 411 and Toddler 411. Both are written by Dr Ari Brown and Denise Fields and they are full of practical information that is not sugar coated or fluffy. It is important information for Moms of all confidence levels. I have both books out and in arms reach and use as references daily. The books are funny but serious when needed. They both have web sites for updates and topics of the day (www.windsorpeak.com). I would suggest these books for any parent but particularly for expecting parents to read prior to the birth (you wont have time once the baby is born).
