High Maintenance Mom

High Maintenance Mom and Barefoot Books want to help you get ready for the fall. A fabulous book with audio CD, puppet, and book with music CD will be given away in September. In addition to the Back-to-School Giveaway, we are also offering a Barefoot books fundraiser, just in time to take advantage of their summer sale...

Our preschool had a Barefoot Books fundraiser and I was amazed by the quality of the books. Ever since then, I have wanted to offer Barefoot Books to High Maintenance Mom readers. In order to make this giveaway special, we will be not only giving away a set of items but we will also be offering an opportunity to purchase books as part of a High Maintenance Mom fundraiser. To participate in the fundraiser, check out books from Barefoot Books and enter the event code EV2. Their summer sale is going on through July 31st so now is a great time to purchase items. We will highlight some of our favorites during the giveaway and fundraiser period.

The giveaway includes one Animal Tales (paperback book with CD), one Snowshoe Hare finger puppet, and one We All Go Traveling By (paperback with music CD). My kids love the Animal Tales book. We often listen to the stories in the car. The illustrations are beautiful and the stories are from around the world. It's hard to pick a favorite story but if pressed, I would have to pick Sedna and King Gull (from Canada). B likes Magic in the Rainforest (from Brazil) and N likes the Monkey's Heart (from Kenya).
