High Maintenance Mom

My husband likes to read about and analyze electronics long before purchasing so I generally let him pick his own gifts. His most recent are loved by the whole family. The Samsung YP-K5JAB 4 GB Audio Player with Built-in Speakers (Black) was bought around Mother's Day and the Sony MDR-IF540RK Wireless Headphone System with Rechargeable Battery were bought in time for Father's Day...

The Samsung MP3 player is used frequently and was a great hit on recent car trips and while camping. It allowed the kids to hear their music and books on tape in the back seat and in tent. The speakers work well, it's small, and holds 4 GB of music / books. I love my iPod but the built-in speakers helped us get both kids settled down without adding a lot of bulk or trying to keep headphones on the kids. Of course we didn't have our new headphones yet.

Our new Sony headphones work incredibly well and somehow fit all of us. N sits on the couch with them pretending he's an airplane pilot. They are very comfortable and are replacing a cheaper pair S was using to watch tv while I worked in the same room. I'm excited S found a Father's Day gift everyone loves.

Another, unexpected Father's Day gift was bought at Costco from The Art of Shaving. We already owned one of their brushes from a starter kit so S was very excited to buy a second (I'm not sure why we need two but then S doesn't understand why I need more than one purse).
