High Maintenance Mom

It wasnt long ago that parents didnt think about school for their children before age 4. Now, as my daughter rounds the corner to being 2 years old, we have enrolled her in "school" 3 days a week in the mornings. I am a stay at home Mom but find there are things I cant give her at home that she needs as she enters pre school and kindergarden. I was impressed and shocked at the schools I saw as I did my research. Education is very expensive here in the Northeast and also very competitive. We finally, after much thought, settled on a school that is NAEYC accredited (National Association for the Education of Young Children), close to home and accepting of kids just missing the September cut off date.
