High Maintenance Mom

If you aren't having your dream Mother's Day (see A checklist for making Mother's Day special for you then I empathize with you... Somehow even the best made plans don't always work with kids. I spent last night trying to get 30 minutes of uninterrupted sleep as both kids screamed at different times and my sick husband slept - yay. Now I'm trying to find ways to make parts of my day enjoyable while I schedule all the other things I wanted to do for later in the week (or month). So after I finish the dishes and laundry, I'll be participating in one of my favorite activities, retail therapy.
