Does anyone else hate the toy companies for using so many wire twisties to hold toys in place. I removed 25 twisties just to free up a geotrax train for my 4 year old!

I hate all of the twisty ties too. My husbands works for Mattel toys and he says they have to use all of ties to guarantee that the toy will not break during shipment. He also said that people at the factory tie all of them by hand. Can you imagine??

Funny you should mention that. I remember trying to open a Little People train at our oldest's first birthday and being amazed by how it was packaged. We had the video recorder running, our son grabbing for it, and my husband asking what was taking so long. I was not impressed and prefer toys that are easier to open.

I recently bought a barbie w/ several outfits and shoes included. There were so many ties around it and even strings through the clothes. I believe this is a theft deterent, but they go a little overboard.

I once found some wedding things in the dollar spot at Target. Does anyone know when they might have those things back again? I could use some more!!!!
