Flying with kids

Daily Candy Kids ran an article today about flying with kids that is worth mentioning. It covers things to bring for the kids including food, medicine, and toys...

We have mini backpacksicon for the kids that we keep in a closet with special toys, books, and stickers. The backpacks only come out for trips so the toys are more exciting. One of our favorite traveling books is Amazing Airplanes (Amazing Machines). A flight on a plane is described in rhyme as an animal takes a trip. We talk about seatbelts, taking off, and landing while comparing our flight to that of the animals in the book.

We love this book too. The illustrations are great and it makes it easy to talk about flying with young kids. Are there others like it?
