Alphabet car songs

I'm always excited to find fun ABC songs as my father collected ABC materials (he was an expert in spelling and reading). Here are two of our favorites, (They Might Be Giants) Here Come the ABCs and (Sesame Street) Sing the Alphabet...

They Might Be Giants Here Come the ABCs is very clever and the music almost makes you think it's your CD. Our oldest loves the song, "C is for Conifers" and we talk a lot about conifers on our drives. Although I really enjoy all of the songs, "Alphabet Lost and Found" and "Go for G" are ones I sing during the day.

The Sesame Street Sing the Alphabet CD contains one song for each letter of the alphabet and is appealing to younger listeners. Some of the songs you may remember from your childhood like "C is for Cookie" or "Would You Like to Buy an "O"?" whereas others like "Automatic R Detector" may not be as recognizable. There are a few songs I tire of after the 15th time, but overall this is a great CD. I thought my oldest was finished with the CD but we played it the other day and he loved it.

I highly recommend both of these CDs. You can listen to song samples from Amazon by clicking on the images or song names. Check out the lyrics to C is for Conifers on rlyrics.com along with several of their other songs.

We love the They Might Be Giants, Here Come the ABCs video. It's one of the ones I don't get tired of having on again and again.
